Minnesota Senate District 37 held its 2009 convention on March 7 at the Burnhaven Library in Burnsville.

Elections were held for the SD37 Chair, Associate Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and Affirmative Action Officer, as well as for vacant SD37 Director positions.

Our new SD37 executive committee is:

Chair: Bob Smithburg
Associate Chair: Vicky Dvorak
Secretary: Janet Larson
Treasurer: James Pratt
Affirmative Action Officer: Sadiq Abdirahman

Any interested democrat who lives in SD37 was free to participate in the process.  Regardless of your previous political experience, before the next convention you are welcome to screen for a position on the SD37 Executive and/or Central Committee. Get involved!
